Check out the July issue of POOL

These are out of order and some are missing because I'm lazy. We shot this in an old hotel on the Bowery.

I'm sorry, but I am an effing retard.

With the economy in the shitter and tax season around the corner many freelancers like myself have been trying to cut back where they can. For those of you who know me well, you would not be surprised to hear that my finances are in complete disarray. I have set things up so that my bills are automatically deducted from my checking account, eliminating the need for me to even open my bills when they come in the mail—and I never open open them. Maybe I find it too depressing or maybe I am just really irresponsible, BUT, I made a recent discovery that it might be a good idea to check on those once in awhile. When I called AT&T today to see if I could change my phone plan I was told that I have 20,000 ROLLOVER MINUTES. WHAT THE EFF!?! I have spent so much time texting people and not calling them directly that I managed to acquire this many rollover minutes?? These minutes could potentially get me through the next decade. I am retarded.

Alexandre Herchovitch

I went to this show yesterday and forgot my camera, so I had to borrow these from Style.com. I know what they charge for this sort of thing and I can't afford it right now, so I hope they'll give me a free pass. Anyways, I rather liked this show. The styling was a bit haphazard and I can't decide if I loved it or hated it. Regardless, many of the individual pieces were quite nice. And apparently, the striped, sequin tank that I bought as part of my economic stimulus package is an actual trend for fall. Who knew?! The answer is me. I am a genius.

I also want to apologize for my lack of show coverage, but I am really swamped over here!!

Vena Cava

Was pretty cool. As to be expected. The designers were really sweet, gave us a good interview. Hair was done by Ted Gibson (love him--he is a genius). Make-up was done by Vincent Longo. Usually after the first few collections I slowly begin to despise the designs, and the quality gets worse and worse, but these chicks just keep getting better. Good show people.

So Chic

My friend, Kofi, sent me this image with the caption: "This will be you and I during Milan fashion week." My response: "She is blonde and he is white." Can we get a smile out of the chick on the left? I don't think so...
